The information letter states that in addition to the compensation required by law, Ocean Breeze will pay tenants forced to relocate $3,500 to offset moving expenses. This is not indicated on the DR5. How can we indicate that we are interested in receiving this additional compensation? How can we ensure this assurance will be met if it is not contained in the written agreement (DR5)?

The $3,500 additional compensation is indeed a voluntary incentive provided by Basin Heights. This amount is separate form the compensation required by law and will be provided after you vacate the unit, and Universal completes a move-out inspection.
You are eligible to receive this incentive as long as you submit your signed DR5 form by the June 30th, 2025, deadline and vacate the unit by March 31st, 2026. While it is not specifically outlined on the DR5, your eligibility is recorded and tracked internally once the form is received.
